Grand Champion

*Fourways Calico

August 2007

Calico's first foals have arrived and they are amazing!  Check out the Foals By Calico pages for more pictures!

If you are looking to improve your Purebred or Half-Welsh herd, look no further!  Calico offers a harmonious mix of Welsh type and Cob substance.  He crosses well with both Welsh and non-Welsh mares, adding pony type to foals from coarse mares and cob substance to foals from fine-boned mares.  Along with this, Calico consistently puts his beautiful head, neck and top-line and powerful hindquarters on all of his foals.

As icing on the cake, Calico offers his striking buckskin coloring with chrome.  He has produced bays, buckskins, and palominos.

Calico is a proven producer of quality foals with phenomenal temperments.  In his first two foal crops he has already produced a Junior Champion colt and a Supreme Champion filly!  If you are interested in breeding to Calico for your own future champion please contact us. He will stand at stud to a limited number of mares this year at $800, which includes a $150 booking fee.  We are also offering a special discount price to Welsh, sportpony, or sporthorse mare owners who agree to have the foal registered and inspected with the ASPR.

Several of his 2007 and 2008 foals are currently offered for sale.  See the For Sale page for more info.
